Ledger & Ladder

From first message to a finished plan, step by step.

No sales call, no discovery funnel, no pressure. You describe your situation, you get an honest answer about whether this helps, and if it does, you enrol.

Before you pay

Getting in

  1. You send a short description

Four things: what your income looks like, how many hours a week you genuinely have, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different in six months. Three or four sentences is plenty.

  2. You get a straight answer

Usually within one working day. It will say which format fits, or that neither does. People are turned away regularly — if you need urgent debt help, legal advice, or a licensed adviser, being told that is more useful than being sold a course.

  3. You choose a format and a start date

Group cohorts have fixed start dates. One-to-one places start whenever a block is free, usually within two to three weeks.

  4. You pay once

The full fee, in advance, in US dollars. You get a receipt, and an invoice if you need one. Nothing else is ever charged, and no card details are stored by the school.

  5. You get the intake pack

An access link, the worksheet set, the calendar entries, and a short questionnaire. The questionnaire matters — it is what makes the first session useful instead of introductory.

During

The rhythm of a week

Filling in a worksheet before a session
Reviewing the figures on screen
A typical week in either programme.
StageTimeWhat happens
Brief arrivesTwo to four pages, posted three days before the session
You prepare20–30 minRead the brief and fill in the week's worksheet with your own figures
Live session60–90 minTeaching, then worked examples on real numbers, then questions
Assignment1–3 hoursYou produce one document you will keep using
FeedbackWritten comments back before the next session
QuestionsAs neededCohort chat, or direct messages in the one-to-one programme

Nothing is graded. Nothing is compared between students. The only measure that matters is whether the document you produced is something you would actually use next month.

Tools

What you need, and what you do not

You need

  • A computer or tablet with a stable connection and a working microphone
  • A spreadsheet program — any free one is fine
  • Access to your own bank statements for the last three months
  • Somewhere quiet for the session, or headphones
  • Three to five hours a week

You do not need

  • Paid budgeting software or apps
  • An existing business, company or registration
  • Savings, capital or a minimum income
  • Any previous financial knowledge
  • A camera on during sessions if you would rather not

Platforms used

Sessions run on [[VIDEO PLATFORM]]. Materials and recordings live in [[COURSE PLATFORM OR SHARED FOLDER]]. Group chat is on [[CHAT PLATFORM]]. Payments are processed by [[PAYMENT PROVIDER]].

Your data

Wherever possible, worksheets stay on your own device and you share only what you choose. Statements sent for review are deleted after the programme ends unless you ask otherwise. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Accessibility

Recordings are captioned. Materials are plain documents that work with screen readers. If you need something adjusted — larger type, a different session time, extra processing time on assignments — ask before you enrol and it will be arranged where possible.

After

What happens when it ends

  1. You keep everything

Worksheets, calculators, templates and guides are yours permanently. Recordings stay available for six months on the group programme and twelve on the one-to-one programme.

  2. A check-in at thirty days

A direct message asking three questions: what is working, what stalled, and what one thing would unblock you. Answering it is optional but most people do.

  3. A second call at ninety days, on the one-to-one programme

Long enough for the plan to have met reality. This is usually where pricing gets adjusted and the first rate increase gets sent.

  4. Nothing is sold to you

There is no next tier. If you later want another block of one-to-one sessions you can buy one, but you will never be pitched, and no advanced programme exists to graduate into.

Pick the format that matches how you learn

Group cohorts run every month and cap at twelve people. One-to-one places open a few at a time, because each one takes a fixed block of the week.

Not sure yet? Send a short note about your situation — how many hours a week you have, what you have already tried, and what you want money to do for you. You will get a straight answer about which format fits, or whether neither does.
