Refund policy
Full refund before the second session, no questions. Everything else, spelled out.
Last updated: [[DATE]] · Version [[VERSION]]
1. The short version
- Full refund if you ask before the second session of either programme. No explanation needed.
- After that, refunds are considered only in the specific circumstances listed below.
- We would rather fix the problem than keep money from someone who is unhappy. Tell us early.
2. Cooling-off and statutory rights
[[SET OUT ANY STATUTORY WITHDRAWAL RIGHT IN YOUR JURISDICTION, e.g. 14 days for distance consumer contracts, AND EXPLAIN THE EFFECT OF THE STUDENT ASKING FOR IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO DIGITAL MATERIALS]]. Nothing in this policy reduces rights you have by law.
3. Group programme
| When you ask | Refund |
|---|---|
| Before the cohort starts | 100% |
| After session 1, before session 2 begins | 100% |
| After session 2 begins | No refund, but you may transfer to a later cohort once at no charge |
| We cancel or postpone the cohort | 100%, or a free transfer, your choice |
4. One-to-one programme
| When you ask | Refund |
|---|---|
| Before the first session | 100% |
| After session 1, before session 2 | 100% |
| After session 2 | Pro-rata refund for sessions not yet delivered, less [[N]]% for preparation already completed |
| We cannot deliver the remaining sessions | Full pro-rata refund for what is undelivered |
5. Circumstances we always consider
- Serious illness or bereavement affecting you or someone you care for.
- A significant change in your circumstances that makes the programme impossible to complete.
- A material failure on our side: sessions not delivered, feedback not provided, materials not supplied.
- You were enrolled despite telling us something that should have led us to turn you away.
In these cases we look at what was actually delivered and refund the rest, or hold your place open, whichever you prefer.
6. What is not refundable
- Sessions you did not attend where a recording was made available.
- Dissatisfaction with an outcome, where the material and feedback were delivered as described. We teach method; results depend on your work and your market.
- A change of mind after the programme has substantially been delivered.
- Cases where materials have been copied, shared or redistributed.
- [[ANY OTHER EXCLUSION YOU WISH TO STATE]]
7. How to request a refund
- Email [[EMAIL ADDRESS]] with the subject line “Refund request”.
- Include your name, the programme, the date you enrolled, and one line on the reason.
- You will receive an acknowledgement within [[N]] working days and a decision within [[N]].
- Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within [[N]] working days.
8. Fees and currency
Refunds are issued in US dollars for the amount paid. We are not responsible for exchange rate movements between payment and refund, or for fees charged by your own bank or card issuer.
9. Transfers instead of refunds
You may transfer your place to a later cohort once, free of charge, if you ask before the third session. Transferring your place to another person is possible only with our written agreement, because feedback and materials are personal.
10. Chargebacks
If something is wrong, contact us first. A chargeback raised without contacting us costs both sides time and money, and we will supply the payment provider with the enrolment record, delivery evidence and this policy. Access to materials is suspended while a chargeback is open.
11. Disputes
If you disagree with a decision, reply and ask for it to be reviewed, setting out why. [[ADD ANY ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION OR OMBUDSMAN SCHEME AVAILABLE IN YOUR JURISDICTION]]
